PUBLIC PRINCIPLES
Physics over promises.
Seitiate is built for AI systems that need to remember useful context, support real review, and stay portable across models and products. These principles describe the public design direction of the engine.
01
Continuity over reset
Useful AI systems should not lose the thread every time a session ends. Seitiate is designed so
prior sources, prior work, and prior decisions can remain useful instead of disappearing into chat history.
Work should compound over time.
02
Human review over blind autonomy
Seitiate is meant for systems where meaningful actions remain inspectable. AI can generate options,
explore directions, and speed up work, but consequential outputs should still pass through visible
review and approval steps.
03
Reusable capabilities over one-off prompting
Systems get stronger when useful workflows can be packaged, improved, and reused. Seitiate treats
capabilities as something that can be composed into larger systems rather than rediscovered from scratch
in every prompt window.
04
Portability over provider lock-in
The engine should remain useful across different model providers, interfaces, and deployment choices.
Portability is not a nice-to-have. It is part of how systems stay resilient as tools and vendors change.
05
Clear engine boundaries
Seitiate is the engine layer, not the whole product story. Managed products can add hosting, UX, and
workflow curation on top, but the engine itself should remain understandable, contributor-friendly,
and honest about what belongs in open infrastructure versus product experience.
06
Your context belongs to you
The accumulated understanding your AI builds from your decisions, your sources, and your history
is not a platform asset. It is yours. Encrypted with keys you hold. Exportable in full.
Deletable completely. No platform lock-in, no data hostage, no terms of service that quietly
claim ownership of what you built.
Seitiate is free, open source, and runs locally with no cloud dependency.
Your digital life should not be scattered across platforms that profit from your attention
while giving you no way to use what you have created.
The longer view
Physicist Federico Faggin coined the term seity to describe
an entity whose identity deepens through experience — whose understanding, once gained, is never lost.
Seitiate exists so that everyone can build one.
We are building toward a world where every person can pull together their full digital history —
conversations, health data, creative work, professional output — into a durable, private layer
of accumulated context that makes AI genuinely better at serving them over time. Not a profile.
Not a preference file. A compounding practice that belongs to them permanently, at no cost.
The future of AI is not which model is smartest. It is whose context runs deepest.
